Andrew McLean is located in PATREC’S office at Curtin University of Technology (08 9266 3295; a.mclean@curtin.edu.au), and is the point of contact for all matters connected with PATREC’s postgraduate education programs and research administration.
Andrew is well qualified for the position, having commenced with Curtin University of technology in 1993. He has held administrative and then managerial positions in general administration, policy development, international and domestic student administration and course development administrative management. Prior to 1993, Andrew worked in local government benefits assessment (UK), youth work, insurance and hospitality.
In 2003, Andrew completed (part-time) a Bachelor of Arts degree at Curtin University of Technology majoring in History and Politics. He is currently undertaking honours study (part-time) in history, specialising in late Imperial Russia (1894-1918).
Andrew has an active interest in history, current affairs, politics, public policy and international relations all of which complements the work of PATREC.
